Ambur Biryani
Ingredients
Mutton/ chicken
Rice
2 medium onion
3 tomato
1 cup pudina
1 cup coriander leaves
cinnamon
3 elachi
3 clove
2 1/2 garlic paste
2 sp ginger paste
lemmon juice
4 sp curd
12 dry red chili (soak in hot water and then grind to a paste)
Directions
In a kadai add oil and add cinnamon, clove and elachi
Add 1 hand full of the onion and fry well (not all)
when onion is golden brown add only 1 sp curd
add garlic and ginger and fry well
Add mutton/ chicken and fry for 5 min
Add salt and then add the red chili paste and fry till the raw smell goes
Add the rest of the onion and fry
Add tomato, pudina and coriander leaves and fry
Add rest of the curd and fry well
Add water and bring to boil and cook
Add lemon juice
Add the rice and cook till done
