Karaikudi Biryani
Ingredients
20 Dry red chili
2 stone flower
2 sp pepper
2 sp sombu
1 cup coconut
1 sp mustard
1/4 sp turmeric
curry leaves
Salt
coriander leaves
2 sp Ginger garlic paste
1 sp garam masala
2 tomato
25 small onions
Chicken
Rice
Directions
In a kadai heat oil add pepper, sombu, mustard seeds
Add small onions and sauté
and dry red chili and sauté
Add stone flower
Add Coconut
Cool and grind to paste
In Kadai add oil, curry leaves
Add GG Paste
Add 2 tomato powder , coriander powder , garam masala , turmeric and salt
Add the ground masala paste and fry well for 5 min
Add Chicken, coriander leaves and cook covered for 10 min
Add water and bring to boil
Add the rice and cook till done
